June 11, 2008 Flammable Liquids Training Personnel from Candia Fire-Rescue were joined by members of the Deerfield and Raymond fire departments for flammable liquids training at the new Liquid Planet water park in Candia. Simulators were provided by the State of New Hampshire Fire Academy, and propane was donated by Energy North. The simulators bubble propane through pans filled with water, closely simulating how a flammable liquid fire burns without causing the smoke and pollution produced when gasoline or other fuels are burned. Participants were able to gain valuable experience from this controlled training. Thanks to Energy North, New Hampshire Fire Academy, Liquid Planet, and the Raymond and Deerfield fire departments.
