50 Rescue 1 is a 1996 Union City Body Company walk-in
rescue built on a 4-seat Chevrolet chassis. This unit carries a
large variety of tools for motor vehicle accident, rescue, hazardous
materials, fire, and emergency medical services incidents. Some
examples of these tools include a diesel-fueled generator, cord reels,
flood lights, Sawzalls, Tiger Saw, hand tools, flashlights, MSA Self
Contained Breathing Apparatus, spare air bottles, air chisels, stokes
basket, Lifepack 10 heart monitor/defibrillator, Lifepack 500 Automated
External Defibrillator (AED), and other advanced life support equipment,
including a full compliment of Paramedic medications. This piece is
also equipped with a Nightscan roof-mounted tower light used for overhead
scene lighting. |
